Clear float glass

The base glass for windows, doors and interiors. 3.5–10 mm.

3.5 · 4 · 5 · 6 · 8 · 10 mm

Clear float glass is the most widely used glass type: high light transmission, a flat surface with no optical distortion and consistent quality in every thickness. For window and door makers it is the core component of an insulated unit; for interiors it is the material for partitions, shelves and shopfronts.

We keep 3210 × 2250, 3210 × 2550 and 1605 × 2550 mm sheets in stock. Orders are cut on a CNC cutting table; the cutting plan is optimised by software, so waste is minimal and the price is calculated precisely.

All thicknesses are suitable for tempering and insulated-unit assembly — cutting, tempering and unit assembly can be ordered together.

FAQ

Questions

Which thickness should I choose for a window?

For standard residential windows 4 mm is typical; for large panes or exposed façades 5–6 mm. Send us the sizes and we will recommend a specific option.

Is there a minimum order?

We mainly serve wholesale buyers, but small orders are accepted too. The price depends on volume and the cutting plan.

Can clear glass be tempered or made into an IGU?

Yes — tempering for 4–10 mm and insulated units with 4–6 mm panes. Tick both in the quote form.

Send us your dimensions — we’ll prepare a quote.

You can send the order as text, a spreadsheet or a photo of a drawing. Dimensions, quantity and glass type are enough.
